AN AFRICAN ADVENTURE
Nothing but an abundance of potential.
In 2014, the intrepid Burls family, moved to North Western Zambia, on the invitation of His Royal Highness Chief, Mumena to “Come and teach my people how to farm, because my people are dying of hunger, while living in the midst of ABUNDANCE “.
And so we started many agricultural projects alongside the Chief. He gave us land, well, actually a bush, where we started clearing so we could begin farming. Two of the main projects were Moringa farming and a honey project. We planted 2 hectares intensively and 7 hectares orchard style for seed production to press our own oil.
We dried the moringa to make moringa leaf powder which healed many locals from all sorts of ailments, and Moringa tea.
tHE GIFT OF ABUNDANCE
Sometimes the most transformative creations are birthed in desperation.
Out of pure desperation, I started making an olive oil infusion with moringa and blended it with beeswax…. and so the Moringa Skin Repair was born. It was the only thing that could calm the severe burn.
We have seen many amazing healings from the Moringa Skin Repair, especially among the local women, from skin cancer wounds on the face that healed, to ringworms that cleared.
The Cucumber extract was also born out of desperation. Since we lived in a sub-tropical climate, the Moringa Skin Repair was too heavy during the hot and humid days, and I needed something natural but lighter on my skin.
We have since moved back to South Africa, so my youngest can finish his schooling, while my husband remains involved in projects in Zambia.
